BUTTERFLIES
The majority of lower budget films seem to distance themselves from high concept titles. High concept doesn't automatically mean high costs. By adding butterflies to a typical text opening transforms it from no concept to high concept.
BIG ROCK MOUNTAIN
Big Rock Mountain won 1st place out of 300 entries at the annual Big Rock Beer commercial contest in 2006 and took home the $10,000 grand prize.
THE MIMICS
The Mimics came in 3rd place out of 300 entries at the annual Big Rock Beer commercial contest in 2005 and took home the $2500 prize.

49 DEGREES
This DVD menu highlights the content of the documentary with interchanging interviews and surfing scenes.
NUMB
The client was interested in a very simple interface for the DVD menus. I stayed consistent with the DVD cover design while highlighting the Canadian content with the transparent flag in the background.
REFUSE TO FALL
This video uses the three main extreme sports (surfing, skateboarding and snowboarding) with a transparent overlay of a person getting refuse to fall tattooed on their back to give an extreme, tough and active portrayal of the clothing company.
PACKIN
Packin' is a video created for a hand bag company that uses a blend of footage and motion graphics to tell a stylized story about the bags.
DREAM
Captures the essence and design of surfing from shop to water.
BLOOD, SWEAT AND TEARS
My second short film (1996) answers that age old question, "What would happen if a drug mule was constipated?". Shot on Super 8.
